Technology / IVR-Systems

With Mega Tech GmbH, the innovative hardware and software solutions flow together in the areas of Internet, network technology and IVR-Systems (Interactive Voice Response). Mega Tech brings the different key technologies of communication into harmony.

The department of IVR-Systems and Media Gateways is an OEM (Own Equipment Manufacturer) in the areas of computer telephony and TDM / IP Signaling. In 1996, the first self-developed IVR (Interactive Voice Response) Systems were put into operation.

The current generation of IVR-Systems of Mega Tech is based on a cPCI System under the Microsoft Windows Server. It is applied by the IP-boards from the company, Aculab (Prosody) as well as by Dialogic. Also new in the portfolio of Mega Tech, is the Any to Any Protocol Converter which is applied as signaling gateways.

Additionally, telephony applications can be converted by nearly any TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) Signaling Protocol to IP and vice versa.

An additional main focus is the setup of switching routes under SS7 (Signaling System 7) either as simple SS7 links with local CICs or redundant SS7 links with local or remote CICs.

Asterisk* and Webfon

For the group of companies, there are both the Asterisk Platform from Mega Tech and the solid base of the classic Call Center operation as well as a springboard into new innovative communication models.

On this foundation, Mega Tech paves the way for future ranges of application.

Webhosting / Serverhousing in Individual Rooms

Mega Tech disposes of sufficient server capacities on the basis of the most modern hardware. Therefore, the performance capacity is always available for the hosted customer applications.

With the utilization of the Linux operating system, Redhat, we can guarantee reliable, highly available and safe Webhosting.

Beyond that, we can also easily extend our capacities in this manner at any time. The linkage of the entire Serverpark is realized through the MPLS Ring of Deutsche Telekom, therefore quick response times and bandwidths are also guaranteed under high traffic conditions.

Application Development with PHP and Zend Framework

The web-developing team places all developments on a MVC model under a PHP with a Zend Framework. This guarantees a high degree of flexibility for the development, security and performance. Additionally, web pages are developed as barrier free and W3C correspondent to current standards as per CSS 2.0 and dynamic content by means of AJAX. Of course, this is Browser and Cross-System compatible. In the face of so much technology, we have specially formed a small team of experienced web designers who provide our web-developing team with fresh and contemporarily designed layouts for all projects.

Developing and Research in Our In-House Hardware Lab

Our team for technology & research is composed of experts on computer hardware and Linux specialists who work hand in hand and around-the-clock and are surrounded with the systems and the hardware, in-depth debate and constant research, learning and are greatly interested in pursuing the newest developments. For the topic of research, we have set up a special Hardware Lab for our company system engineers where all conceivable developments and environments are tested on virtual machines with regard to tracking down and eliminating weak spots within the productive operations.

The hardware team works closely together with the IVR-System software engineers.
